Be a mountain or lean on one (Somali proverb). Someone, somewhere, somehow, a protest is on-going. It may be for a myriad of reasons. People can't run out of them. There's always one reason to protest: climate change, human and labour rights, freedom from debt, political upheavals, gender equality, among many others. Aotearoa New Zealand just had it's share of the protest movement within the Beehive, Parliament grounds in Wellington. This event has not been seen by most Kiwis except in the news on television reporting on what's happening in other parts of the world.
Fine words do not produce food (Nigerian proverb). February 5 is World Nutella Day! This brand of sweetened hazelnut cocoa spread is made by the Italian company Ferrero. To have a day dedicated to it's memory shows how important and popular this yummy product has become. It is best spread on bread toast and I've seen how others would have it on their porridge, bananas, cakes, ice cream, among many others. Lunchboxes and picnic baskets with Nutella sandwiches will satisfy the hunger of children and working people. Celebrities' who like it includes Lady Gaga, Rafael Nadal, Pippa Middleton, Shakira, Hayden Panettiere, Ina Garten, Novak Djokovic, and Heidi Klum. It is an Italian brand but the French eat a lot of Nutella. It is also exported to more than 160 countries worldwide.
Let's face it, a nice creamy chocolate cake does a lot for a lot of people; it does for me (Audrey Hepburn). Chocolate cakes are always around to cheer you up. The smell alone is enough to take your breathe away. These cakes also equate to good and happy times like birthdays, weddings, graduations, among many other memorable and momentous occassions in one's life.
